4. Guest Sessions

When you use Fairsy without an account, we create a guest session tied to your device. If you later create an account, your guest session data is merged into your account and the guest session is cleared.

Your data is stored securely and transmitted using encryption. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. Authentication tokens are stored locally on your device.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal information is anonymized. Group and expense records may be retained in anonymized form to maintain accurate balances for other group members.

• Update your name and phone number at any time
• Delete your account and have your data anonymized
• Request a copy of your data by contacting support

Fairsy uses browser local storage to maintain your authentication session and app preferences. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.
